When folded, the 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR outer display provides a compact, comfortable one-handed iPhone experience. Both displays support ProMotion adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz, Always-On display, HDR, True Tone and up to 3,000 nits peak outdoor brightness.

The folding design introduces new ways to use iPhone. Position it open, partially folded or standing on a surface while iOS 27 intelligently adapts apps and content to the device’s orientation. Split View makes side-by-side multitasking more natural, while supported apps can take advantage of the expansive inner display for productivity, entertainment and communication.

Apple rates iPhone Duo for up to 44 hours of video playback using the outer display and up to 31 hours using the inner display. Fast wired charging can provide up to 50% charge in around 20 minutes with compatible equipment.

iPhone Duo features a Grade 5 titanium frame and hinge cover engineered for smooth, balanced folding and long-term durability. Ceramic Shield 2 protects the front, Ceramic Shield protects the back, and the inner display features a scratch-resistant coating. The device is also IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.
